This fall we are grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in our community. In the first 9 months of 2025 we welcomed almost 600 new families, supported 18,706 visits to our food pantry from 2078 local households, and distributed 169,000 diapers! We also paid $31,487 to prevent utility shut offs for our guests, had almost 5,000 visits to our Clothes Closet and over 2,300 families selected clothes from the First Things First Clothes room for children.
The Outreach House has run out of space after less than three years since moving to 805 S. Main Street, Lombard! During this time we have more than doubled the number of people we are serving and the amount of food, diapers, clothing and emergency financial assistance we are providing and we continue to see an increase in demand for our services.
As we prepare for the upcoming season of gratitude and generosity, many of us are making plans to spend time and share delicious meals with our loved ones, in our warm, safe homes.
SPRING 2024
As we all prepare for back to school season and to the end of a very busy summer, we are taking a moment to pause and thank everyone who has supported The Outreach House in our mission. The Outreach House provides compassionate and effective assistance to individuals and families with dignity and without judgment.
Spring is in the air and with it comes so much new and beautiful growth. Just taking a walk around the neighborhood is such a delight with so many Spring flowers already in bloom and so many more ready to make their appearance soon.
